The Banana Stand is more than just a beautiful space in historic Pioneer Square. It’s an homage to every Seattle artist or small business owner who has ever struggled to find a place to refine their craft. It’s inclusive and diverse. It is the Room of Requirement to those in need of a welcoming, lively environment to grow.

We are a film + photography studio, workshop venue, a place to meet with your feminist book club, have a birthday brunch or even host your own art show. Hell, we’ve even had folks get married in here. This space is designed specifically to engage with and activate the community, and push the boundaries of social norms through art and collaboration.
