Planning my next trip to the desert has me feeling nostalgic as I reminisce over my last experience there. Sun-soaked days and starlit nights well spent among good company, epic rocky landscapes and of course, the Joshua Trees (oddly not pictured here).
True perfection.

It may've taken me over a year and a half, but here I am- finally blogging Jeremy & Alycia's incredible early morning (we're talking wake up at 3 am, mmkay) session. This shoot took place during a couple spontaneous pitstops along the highway as we made our way to Salvation Mountain. Sometimes the best shit happens when you decide to celebrate the in-between moments, not just the final destination; when you take time to soak in your surroundings, even if it's just to play with some dirt and watch the sun peak over the horizon of a littered highway.

I can't handle how much I love these two and admire their connection. It's quiet, it's fierce and it's solid. And it certainly didn't happen by chance. These two have earned their standing in life and with one another, and I couldn't be more more in awe of the commitment and hard work that they infuse into everything they touch.
